LAND OF THE OPEN DOORS - Sprache entdecken in Dublin

()

What ́s behind all those lovely Georgian doors? You don ́t know? Well then go on a language week to Dublin, like we did.

Leaving sunny and hot Vienna airport on a Sunday afternoon, we arrived only a few hours later at Dublin airport. Next we were transferred to a familiar supermarket (thanks to the common market) where the host families were waiting in front of it.

The first task of the following morning was finding the school. An undertaking which each one of the group managed excellently. The next two days were dedicated to getting a concrete idea of where we were based. Once we had our bearings the next item on our agenda was Dublin. We learnt some surprising facts of Ireland like the national colour being blue (not green), its symbol being a harp (not a shamrock) and the people ́s love of good music. It ́s impossible to find bad music. We can confirm this after having attended a concert at a local pub the Harbour Bar in Bray.

If you fancy seeing picturesque landscapes combined with pulsating city life, take a language week in Ireland.

Enjoy your experiences, it ́s all grand.
